All leather, quality fighting gloves. I REALLY like these and view them as ideal for my martial arts practice.
So why 4 stars and not 5 stars?
Because my Dojo does a mix of karate, jujitsu, boxing and judo. These gloves offer superior protect to both me and my opponent. Well padded and well made.
The only problem? I have to take them off for judo as with these gloves on, it is harder to grab and hold my opponent. Why should it matter? Doesn't in judo. I just don't need them. But when doing the "karate" where judo is also legal, it is harder to catch, say a kick and hold the leg/foot for a take down.
Of course in pure karate or pure judo, this problem would not come up.
